FAQs

“Padmayoni” (lotus-born/lotus-wombed) is an epithet of Brahmā, associated with his emergence from the lotus.

The devas acknowledge their ignorance of the underlying cause and appeal to Brahmā’s authority and discernment to determine it.

It highlights humility and proper recourse: when the cause of events is unclear, one should seek guidance from a competent authority rather than speculate.
