ततस्तु सार्द्धयामैकं जलं क्षीरमयं स्मृतम् । क्षीरमिश्रं जलं तावद्यावद्दण्डचतुष्टयम्

അതിനുശേഷം ഒരു സാർദ്ധയാമം വരെ ആ ജലം ക്ഷീരസമമെന്ന് പറയപ്പെടുന്നു; നാലു ദണ്ഡകാലം വരെ അത് പാല്മിശ്രിത ജലമായി നിലനിൽക്കും.
