प्रेषितेषु यथाशक्ति दत्वा तेषु च दक्षिणाम् । गतेषु विप्रमुख्येषु प्रियां रामोऽब्रवीदिदम्

preṣiteṣu yathāśakti datvā teṣu ca dakṣiṇām | gateṣu vipramukhyeṣu priyāṃ rāmo'bravīdidam

അവരെ ആദരത്തോടെ യാത്രയാക്കി, തന്റെ ശേഷിയനുസരിച്ച് ദാനവും ദക്ഷിണയും നൽകി, പ്രമുഖ ബ്രാഹ്മണർ പോയശേഷം രാമൻ പ്രിയയോട് ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു.
