Concept: Contact with a properly praised tīrtha yields sukha (well-being), aiśvarya (prosperity), and akṣaya-tapas (inexhaustible merit)—a Padma hallmark of explicit phala-śruti.

Application: When visiting sacred places (or any meaningful place), practice ‘triad discipline’: charity, restraint, and remembrance—so benefits become lasting rather than fleeting.

Primary Rasa: adbhuta

Secondary Rasa: shanta

Type: tirtha

Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"A panoramic view reveals three gleaming white peaks encircling a sacred basin, while three clear springs cascade down in ribbon-like streams feeding the tīrtha. Pilgrims gather at the water’s edge, offering flowers and cupped-water arghya, as the landscape itself seems to radiate blessing.","primary_figures":["Pilgrims","Tīrtha guardians (yakṣa/apsaras motifs, optional)"],"setting":"Hill-ringed Puṣkara landscape: three peaks, three springs, ghats, and a central sacred lake with lotus blooms.","lighting_mood":"golden dawn","color_palette":["chalk white","spring-water silver","emerald green","sunrise gold","cerulean sky"],"tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore painting style: Wide sacred landscape with three white peaks rendered like jeweled mounds, three stylized silver streams, central lake with lotus, pilgrims in bright garments, gold leaf highlights on water ripples and temple elements, ornate border of lotus and kalasha motifs.","pahari_prompt":"Pahari miniature style: Elegant panoramic hills with three distinct peaks, delicate streams, tiny pilgrims at ghats, cool greens and blues with soft gold sunrise, refined naturalism and lyrical spacing.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural style: Symbolic triadic composition—three peaks above, three streams descending, central lake band—bold outlines, saturated reds/yellows/greens, decorative borders emphasizing auspicious geometry.","pichwai_prompt":"Pichwai cloth painting style: Repeating lotus patterns across the lake, three stylized mountain forms at top, three flowing stream motifs, intricate floral borders, deep blue and gold with vermillion accents, small pilgrim figures offering lamps along the ghats."}

Audio Atmosphere: {"recitation_mood":"celebratory","suggested_raga":"Bhupali","pace":"moderate-narrative","voice_tone":"authoritative","sound_elements":["flowing springs","temple bells","pilgrim murmurs","conch shell"]}

Sandhi Resolution Notes: तथैश्वर्यम् = तथा + ऐश्वर्यम्; तपोऽक्षयम् = तपः + अक्षयम् (विसर्ग→ओऽ).

FAQs

It uses a classic sacred-geography marker—distinctive natural features (three peaks and three springs)—to identify a holy landscape and to signal that the place is ritually and spiritually potent.

While bhakti is not named explicitly here, the verse functions like a phala-śruti: it promises auspicious results (happiness, prosperity, lasting merit) that commonly accompany devotion, pilgrimage, and reverent engagement with a sacred site.

The implied lesson is that aligning oneself with dharmic, sacred practices yields both worldly well-being and enduring spiritual benefit—encouraging disciplined, value-centered living rather than short-term gain.
