नीत्वा विभावरीं तत्र गमनाय मनो दधुः । एह्युत्तिष्ठ च सौमित्रे व्रजामो दक्षिणां दिशम्

nītvā vibhāvarīṃ tatra gamanāya mano dadhuḥ | ehyuttiṣṭha ca saumitre vrajāmo dakṣiṇāṃ diśam

അവിടെ രാത്രി കഴിച്ച് അവർ യാത്രയ്ക്കായി മനസ്സുറപ്പിച്ചു. “വാ, എഴുന്നേൽക്കൂ സൗമിത്രേ; നാം ദക്ഷിണദിശയിലേക്കു പോകാം” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു।
