आयुष्मान्भव तैरुक्तः स बालो दंडमेखली । उक्त्वैवं ते पुनर्बालमपश्यन्क्षीणजीवितम्

āyuṣmānbhava tairuktaḥ sa bālo daṃḍamekhalī | uktvaivaṃ te punarbālamapaśyankṣīṇajīvitam

അവർ “ആയുഷ്മാൻ ഭവ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; ദണ്ഡവും മേഖലയും ധരിച്ച ആ ബാലൻ (അവിടെ നിന്നു). എന്നാൽ അങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞിട്ട് വീണ്ടും നോക്കിയപ്പോൾ, ബാലന്റെ ജീവശക്തി ക്ഷീണിച്ചിരുന്നതായി കണ്ടു.
