तस्यान्तेभून्महाकल्पः पाद्म इत्यभिविश्रुतः । द्वितीयस्य परार्धस्य वर्तमानस्य वै नृप

tasyāntebhūnmahākalpaḥ pādma ityabhiviśrutaḥ | dvitīyasya parārdhasya vartamānasya vai nṛpa

ആ കാലത്തിന്റെ അവസാനം ‘പാദ്മ’ എന്നു പ്രസിദ്ധമായ മഹാകൽപം സംഭവിച്ചു, ഹേ നൃപ; അത് ദ്വിതീയ പരാർദ്ധത്തിന്റെ നിലവിലുള്ള ഉത്തരാർദ്ധത്തിന്റേതാണ്.
