Lunar Bed-Vow with Rohiṇī
भीष्म उवाच । दीर्घायुरारोग्यकुलातिवृद्धिभिर्युक्तः पुमान्रूपकुलान्वितः स्यात् । मुहुर्मुहुर्जन्मनि येन सम्यक्व्रतं समाचक्ष्व च शीतरश्मेः
bhīṣma uvāca | dīrghāyurārogyakulātivṛddhibhiryuktaḥ pumānrūpakulānvitaḥ syāt | muhurmuhurjanmani yena samyakvrataṃ samācakṣva ca śītaraśmeḥ
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ശീതരശ്മി (ചന്ദ്രസമൻ), ദയവായി ആ വ്രതത്തിന്റെ യഥാവിധി വിശദമായി പറയുക; അതിനാൽ മനുഷ്യൻ പുനഃപുനഃ ജന്മങ്ങളിൽ ദീർഘായുസ്സും ആരോഗ്യവും കുലവർദ്ധനവും രൂപവും ഉത്തമകുലസമ്പത്തും പ്രാപിക്കും।
