तेन त्वं रूपवान्जातो सुरः शत्रुकुलाशनिः । विविधा च रुचिर्जाता यस्मात्तव विदूरगा

tena tvaṃ rūpavānjāto suraḥ śatrukulāśaniḥ | vividhā ca rucirjātā yasmāttava vidūragā

അതുകൊണ്ടു നീ രൂപവാനായി ജനിച്ചു—ദേവസദൃശൻ, ശത്രുകുലങ്ങൾക്ക് ഇടിമിന്നലുപോലെ. നിന്റെ ദൂരവ്യാപിയായ പ്രഭയാൽ നിനക്കുള്ളിൽ പലവിധ ദീപ്തി ഉദിച്ചു।
