ततस्त्वग्र्यामिमां भीम तिथिं पापप्रणाशिनीम् । उपोष्य विधिनानेन गच्छ विष्णोः परं पदं

അതുകൊണ്ട് ഹേ ഭീമാ, പാപപ്രണാശിനിയായ ഈ ശ്രേഷ്ഠ തിഥിയിൽ വിധിപൂർവ്വം ഉപവാസം അനുഷ്ഠിക്ക; അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്താൽ നീ വിഷ്ണുവിന്റെ പരമപദം പ്രാപിക്കും।
