रुद्रेणोक्तस्तदा विष्णुर्धर्मांस्ते त्वं प्रकीर्त्तय । गौरीधर्मान्सरस्वत्या व्रतं यत्परिकीर्तितम्

അപ്പോൾ രുദ്രൻ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ വിഷ്ണു പറഞ്ഞു—“നീ ആ ധർമ്മങ്ങളെ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്ക; ഗൗരീധർമ്മങ്ങളും, വിവരിക്കപ്പെട്ട സരസ്വതീ വ്രതവും.”
