FAQs

It presents Brahmā as a highly revered cosmic authority, worshipped even by prominent deities (Maruts, Sun, Moon) and ancestral beings (Pitṛs), emphasizing a hierarchical order in the cosmos.

The Maruts are storm and atmospheric deities associated with Indra. Their inclusion signals that powerful Vedic deities also honor Brahmā, reinforcing Brahmā’s elevated status in the creation-centered Sṛṣṭikhaṇḍa context.

The verse models humility and reverence: if even exalted beings worship and honor a higher principle/authority, human beings too should cultivate respect, devotion, and disciplined worship.
