Vāḍava (submarine fire)

FAQs

It presents the Vāḍava-fire as something that is “led/carried” toward the western ocean, reflecting Purāṇic cosmology where a hidden fire resides in or is associated with the oceanic realm.

It implies a gradual, ordered progression—moving in sequence or step by step—rather than an instantaneous arrival, suggesting a mapped or staged journey through regions.

This verse is primarily cosmological/geographical in tone, describing movement toward the western ocean and the reaching of “that water,” rather than directly teaching devotion or ritual practice.
