प्रहरन्ति स्मोपहासं कुर्वाणा हस्तसंविदम् । ततोन्ये वटवस्तत्र जटास्वागृह्य चांतिकम्

praharanti smopahāsaṃ kurvāṇā hastasaṃvidam | tatonye vaṭavastatra jaṭāsvāgṛhya cāṃtikam

അവർ പരിഹസിച്ചു, കൈകളാൽ രഹസ്യസൂചനകൾ കാണിച്ചു, അവനെ അടിച്ചു; പിന്നെ അവിടെയുള്ള മറ്റു ബാലകർ അവന്റെ ജട പിടിച്ച് അടുത്തേക്ക് വലിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു।
