Puṣkara Mahatmya: Brahmā’s Lotus-Tīrtha, Sacrifice, Initiation, and Kṣetra-Dharma

पद्मिनीमृगपुष्पाढ्यं सुदृढं शुशुभे तदा । प्रविश्याथ वनं देवाः सर्वपुष्पोपशोभितम्

padminīmṛgapuṣpāḍhyaṃ sudṛḍhaṃ śuśubhe tadā | praviśyātha vanaṃ devāḥ sarvapuṣpopaśobhitam

പദ്മങ്ങൾ, മൃഗങ്ങൾ, പുഷ്പങ്ങൾ എന്നിവകൊണ്ട് സമൃദ്ധവും, സുദൃഢവും സുസംസ്ഥിതവുമായ ആ വനം അപ്പോൾ അത്യന്തം ശോഭിച്ചു. അതിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ച ദേവന്മാർ അതിനെ സർവ്വവിധ പുഷ്പങ്ങളാൽ അലങ്കൃതമായി കണ്ടു.
