धात्रीफलं गृही विप्र रवौ तत्सर्वदा त्यजेत् । कूष्मांडे धनहानिः स्यात्बृहत्यां न स्मरेद्धरिम्

ഹേ വിപ്രാ! ഗൃഹസ്ഥൻ ഞായറാഴ്ച ധാത്രീഫലം (നെല്ലിക്ക) എപ്പോഴും ഉപേക്ഷിക്കണം. കൂഷ്മാണ്ഡം കഴിച്ചാൽ ധനഹാനി വരാം; ബൃഹതീ ദിനത്തിൽ ഹരിയെ സ്മരിക്കരുത്।
