पुरासीद्वल्लभो नाम्ना नगरे कांचनाह्वये । धनेन पुष्कलेनापि राजते स धनेश्वरः

പുരാതനകാലത്ത് കാഞ്ചനാഹ്വയ എന്ന നഗരത്തിൽ വല്ലഭൻ എന്നൊരു പുരുഷൻ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അപാര ധനസമ്പത്തോടുകൂടിയ ആ ധനാധിപൻ ദീപ്തിയായി ശോഭിച്ചു।
