वामदेव उवाच । त्वामहं विष्णुधर्मज्ञं विष्णुभक्तं नरोत्तमम् । जाने ज्ञानेन राजेंद्र दिव्येन चोलभूमिपम्
vāmadeva uvāca | tvāmahaṃ viṣṇudharmajñaṃ viṣṇubhaktaṃ narottamam | jāne jñānena rājeṃdra divyena colabhūmipam
വാമദേവൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ നരോത്തമാ! ഹേ രാജേന്ദ്രാ, ചോളഭൂമിയുടെ അധിപതേ! ദിവ്യജ്ഞാനത്താൽ നിന്നെ വിഷ്ണുധർമ്മജ്ഞനും വിഷ്ണുഭക്തനും ആയി ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു.
