न तत्सुखाय मंतव्यं परमार्थेन पंडितैः । मृतोपमश्च यः शेते सर्वकार्यविवर्जितः

na tatsukhāya maṃtavyaṃ paramārthena paṃḍitaiḥ | mṛtopamaśca yaḥ śete sarvakāryavivarjitaḥ

പരമാർത്ഥദൃഷ്ടിയിൽ പണ്ഡിതർ അതിനെ സുഖമെന്ന് കരുതരുത്—മനുഷ്യൻ മരിച്ചവനെപ്പോലെ കിടന്ന് എല്ലാ കർത്തവ്യ-കർമ്മങ്ങളും ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുമ്പോൾ.
