Primary Rasa: bhayanaka

Secondary Rasa: karuna

FAQs

It teaches the inevitability of death and the fragility of worldly reliance—death consumes all, and social bonds often fail at the final moment.

The image conveys sudden, helpless capture: just as a frog is effortlessly swallowed, beings are overtaken by death beyond their control.

Cultivate detachment and inner preparedness, and prioritize enduring spiritual or moral aims over dependence on unstable worldly relationships.
