FAQs

Vaiśravaṇa is Kubera, the lord of wealth and a prominent yakṣa-king in Purāṇic tradition; the verse identifies Gobhila as his bhṛtya (attendant/servant).

It indicates access to a “divine vimāna” (a celestial aerial vehicle), emphasizing extraordinary privilege and power—yet the verse frames it in the context of indulgence rather than spiritual attainment.

The phrase suggests being “flooded/immersed in all pleasures,” a common Purāṇic setup that foreshadows the limitations or consequences of unchecked enjoyment (bhoga) when not guided by dharma.
