FAQs

The speaker is Sukala, describing a violent scene where hunters release arrows and spears like a downpour, overwhelming the herd-leading boar and forcing it into battle.

The weapons are compared to heavy rain pouring from a dense mountain-cloud, emphasizing the sheer volume and relentless fall of arrows and javelins.

It underscores the consequences of aggression and violence in worldly conflict, while also portraying steadfast resistance under pressure—often used in Purāṇic narratives to contrast brute force with dharmic restraint elsewhere in the story.
