अथ क्रुद्धो महातेजा विष्णुशर्मा द्विजोत्तमः । इंद्रं प्रति महाभागो रागरक्तांतलोचनः

atha kruddho mahātejā viṣṇuśarmā dvijottamaḥ | iṃdraṃ prati mahābhāgo rāgaraktāṃtalocanaḥ

അപ്പോൾ മഹാതേജസ്സുള്ള ദ്വിജോത്തമൻ വിഷ്ണുശർമൻ ക്രോധത്തിൽ ജ്വലിച്ചു. ആ മഹാഭാഗൻ ഇന്ദ്രനോട്ടു തിരിഞ്ഞു; രാഗത്താൽ അവന്റെ കണ്ണുകളുടെ കോണുകൾ ചുവന്നിരുന്നു.
