अथ प्रभाते संप्राप्ते दिने पुण्ये सुभाग्यदे । आषाढस्य तु शुद्धस्यैकादशी पापनाशनी

അനന്തരം പ്രഭാതം വന്നപ്പോൾ, പുണ്യവും സൗഭാഗ്യവും നൽകുന്ന ആ ദിനത്തിൽ ആഷാഢ ശുദ്ധപക്ഷത്തിലെ പാപനാശിനിയായ ഏകാദശി എത്തി।
