एवं सुनियमं कृत्वा गंगातीरमनुत्तमम् । संस्थिता हुंडनाशाय निश्चला शिवनंदिनी

ഇങ്ങനെ കഠിനനിയമം സ്വീകരിച്ച്, ശിവനന്ദിനിയായ നിശ്ചലാ ഗംഗയുടെ അതുല്യ തീരത്ത് ഉറച്ചുനിന്നു—ഹുണ്ടന്മാരെ നശിപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള ദൃഢസങ്കൽപത്തോടെ അചഞ്ചലമായി।
