FAQs

Pradyumna is named as the renowned, mighty figure described here as the son of Mādhava (a name of Viṣṇu/Kṛṣṇa), presented as a heroic Yādava descendant.

“Mādhava” is a devotional name commonly used for Viṣṇu/Kṛṣṇa; the verse uses it to situate Pradyumna within a Vaiṣṇava sacred lineage.

The verse functions primarily as an identification and praise statement—establishing a person’s husband as Pradyumna, celebrated for strength and heroic stature, and linked to the Yādava royal line.
