कुंजल उवाच । अशोकसुंदरी जाता सर्वयोषिद्वरा तदा । रेमे सुनंदने पुण्ये सर्वकामगुणान्विते

കുഞ്ജലൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അപ്പോൾ അശോകസുന്ദരി ജനിച്ചു; അവൾ എല്ലാ സ്ത്രീകളിലും ശ്രേഷ്ഠയായിരുന്നു. സർവ്വകാമഗുണങ്ങളാൽ സമന്വിതമായ പുണ്യ സുനന്ദനോദ്യാനത്തിൽ അവൾ ആനന്ദത്തോടെ വിഹരിച്ചു।
