प्राप्याप्यैंद्रं पदं पुत्रास्ततो भ्रष्टा भवंति हि । तस्माद्यूयं प्रकुर्वंतु तपः पुत्राः समन्विताः

prāpyāpyaiṃdraṃ padaṃ putrāstato bhraṣṭā bhavaṃti hi | tasmādyūyaṃ prakurvaṃtu tapaḥ putrāḥ samanvitāḥ

പുത്രന്മാരേ! ഇന്ദ്രപദം നേടിയാലും അവിടെ നിന്ന് വീഴ്ച സംഭവിക്കും; അതിനാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ഒരുമിച്ച് സ്ഥിരചിത്തരായി തപസ്സു അനുഷ്ഠിക്കൂ.
