The Dialogue between Rukmāṅgada and Dharmāṅgada

evaṃ jñātvā tu yuṣmābhiḥ smartavyo garuḍadhvajaḥ | brahmārpaṇaprayogeṇa yajanīyo janārdanaḥ || 31 ||

FAQs

It teaches that true worship of Viṣṇu (Garuḍadhvaja/Janārdana) is grounded in constant remembrance and in sanctifying one’s actions by dedicating them as offerings—turning ritual and daily life into God-centered practice.

Bhakti is expressed here as smaraṇa (remembrance) of Viṣṇu and as īśvara-arpana (offering to the Lord): worship is not only external rite but an inner attitude of dedicating every act to Janārdana.

It highlights ritual application (prayoga) in yajña/upāsanā: the disciplined method of offering (arpana) with the correct intention—treating the act and its fruits as consecrated to the Divine (brahmārpaṇa).
