Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It sanctifies the location by identifying a nearby sacred lake as Brahmā’s ancient creation and by marking the presence of Brahmā’s vedī, establishing the spot as a ritually potent tīrtha.
By highlighting a Brahmā-established tīrtha, it supports bhakti through pilgrimage and reverent worship at consecrated sites—devotion expressed via darśana, bathing, and offerings in a holy geography.
Ritual orientation and site-layout are implied: the mention of a vedī and its placement by direction (diśā) reflects kalpa/ritual procedure and traditional spatial rules used in Vedic rite and tīrtha practice.
