Tīrtha-vidhi (Procedure for Holy Places) — Prayāgarāja-māhātmya

प्रतिकृतिं कुशमयीं तीर्थवारिणि मज्जयेत् । यमुद्दिश्य विशालाक्षि सोऽष्टमांशं फलं लभेत् ॥ ४३ ॥

pratikṛtiṃ kuśamayīṃ tīrthavāriṇi majjayet | yamuddiśya viśālākṣi so'ṣṭamāṃśaṃ phalaṃ labhet || 43 ||

ഹേ വിശാലാക്ഷി! കുശപ്പുല്ലുകൊണ്ട് നിർമ്മിച്ച പ്രതികൃതിയെ തീർത്ഥജലത്തിൽ മുങ്ങിക്കൊള്ളിക്കുക. ആരെ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചാണോ ഇത് ചെയ്യുന്നത്, അവൻ ആ പുണ്യഫലത്തിന്റെ എട്ടിലൊന്ന് ഭാഗം പ്രാപിക്കും.
