FAQs

It presents the classic Purāṇic cosmology where Viṣṇu rests on the cosmic waters and, by divine command, the lotus of creation manifests from his navel—signifying ordered creation emerging from the Supreme.

By highlighting Viṣṇu as the source of creation and divine will as the driving force, it supports bhakti-oriented contemplation: creation is sustained by the Lord, so devotion is directed to the ultimate origin and protector.

No specific Vedāṅga technique is taught in this verse; it is primarily cosmological narration used in Purāṇic teaching to ground dharma and devotion in the supremacy of Viṣṇu.
