Description of the Origin of the Cosmic Egg (Brahmāṇḍa) and the Ocean as King of Tīrthas
तस्मादंडाद्विराड् जज्ञे सोऽशयिष्ट जलांतरे । मुखादीन्यस्य जातानि विराजोऽवयवा अपि ॥ ६२ ॥
tasmādaṃḍādvirāḍ jajñe so'śayiṣṭa jalāṃtare | mukhādīnyasya jātāni virājo'vayavā api || 62 ||
ആ ബ്രഹ്മാണ്ഡരൂപ അണ്ഡത്തിൽ നിന്ന് വിരാട് ജനിച്ചു. അദ്ദേഹം ജലാന്തരത്തിൽ ശയിച്ചു; വിരാടിന്റെ മുഖാദി അവയവങ്ങളും അദ്ദേഹത്തിൽ നിന്നുതന്നെ പ്രകടമായി.
