Suta (narrating Purana account in Uttara-Bhaga)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: vira
Secondary Rasa: shanta
The verse highlights Dharma through correctly performed Vedic sacrifice (vidhivat) and the sanctifying power of dāna (dakṣiṇā), presenting prosperity and construction of sacred/royal works as fruits of righteous action.
While not explicitly naming Bhakti, it supports the Purāṇic ethic that offerings, gifts, and commissioning sacred structures become devotional service when done in accordance with dharma and as an act of reverence.
The key practical point is ritual correctness (vidhivat), implying adherence to Kalpa (procedural rules of yajña) and proper distribution of dakṣiṇā as an essential component of Vedic rites.
