Description of Pilgrimage to the Sacred Fords
तेषां तु तारकं ज्ञानमस्त्येवेति न संशयः । वापीजले नरः स्नात्वा दृष्ट्वा दंडकनामकम् ॥ ५९ ॥
teṣāṃ tu tārakaṃ jñānamastyeveti na saṃśayaḥ | vāpījale naraḥ snātvā dṛṣṭvā daṃḍakanāmakam || 59 ||
അവർക്കു താരക—മോക്ഷദായക—ജ്ഞാനം നിശ്ചയമായും ഉണ്ട്; സംശയമില്ല. വാപിജലത്തിൽ സ്നാനം ചെയ്ത് ‘ദണ്ഡക’ എന്ന പുണ്യസ്ഥലം ദർശിച്ചാൽ മനുഷ്യൻ ആ രക്ഷാഫലം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു।
