Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It elevates tīrtha-snāna as an exceptionally potent dharmic act, equating a single sacred bath with the vast merit of a properly performed go-dāna of a thousand kapilā cows.
By praising the sanctity of tīrthas, the verse supports bhakti-oriented practice: approaching holy places with faith and purity, where simple acts like snāna become offerings that generate great puṇya.
Ritual discipline (kalpa/ācāra) is implied through “samyag-datta” and “snāna-mātra”: correct procedure, purity rules, and proper intent determine the fruit of dāna and snāna.
