विहाय तां यत्प्रिययोगभुक्तिं पादस्थिता सापि ह्यदृष्यरूपा । सत्यं हि ते नाम विशालनेत्रे यन्मोहिनीत्येव जनो ब्रवीति ॥ २६ ॥

പ്രിയസംഗമജന്യമായ ആ ഭോഗം ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് അവൾ നിന്റെ പാദങ്ങളിൽ നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു; എങ്കിലും അവളുടെ രൂപം അദൃശ്യമാണ്. ഹേ വിശാലനേത്രേ! നിന്റെ നാമം സത്യമായും യുക്തമാണ്; ജനങ്ങൾ നിന്നെ ‘മോഹിനി’ എന്നുതന്നെ വിളിക്കുന്നു॥২৬॥
