Narada (in dialogue instruction on ritual timekeeping)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It emphasizes that sacred observances become effective when performed at the correct kāla (time), specifically identifying Aruṇodaya as a precise pre-sunrise window.
By defining Aruṇodaya as the proper time-marker, it supports disciplined bhakti—worship, japa, and vrata acts done at the most sattvic dawn period.
Vedāṅga Jyotiṣa-style time reckoning: Aruṇodaya is defined quantitatively as two muhūrtas, guiding muhūrta calculation for rites and vows.
