Sūta (colophon/narratorial closing)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
This is the chapter-ending colophon highlighting the climax: despite the extreme test of dharma (being ready to kill one’s own son), Rukmāṅgada receives Bhagavān’s direct darśana—signifying divine grace granted to unwavering righteousness and devotion.
By naming the chapter “Bhagavad-darśana,” it frames the narrative as a bhakti outcome: steadfast commitment to the Lord and to vowed dharma culminates in direct experience of God (darśana), the fruit of sincere devotion.
No specific Vedāṅga technique is taught in this colophon; it primarily functions as a structural marker (adhyāya-samāpti) typical of Purāṇic compilation and oral recitation practice.
