Narada (narrating dharma/household conduct within the tirtha-mahatmya context of Uttara-Bhaga)
Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"shanta","secondary_rasa":"bhakti","emotional_journey":"From quiet domestic service to an ideal of harmony and self-restraint in a complex household."}
It elevates annadāna (giving/serving food) and self-restraint as dharmic virtues, teaching that humility and generosity purify domestic life and reduce conflict.
By emphasizing service and giving (seva and dāna) without jealousy, it supports the bhakti ethic of offering one’s actions in a spirit of surrender and goodwill, even in difficult relationships.
No specific Vedanga (like Vyakarana or Jyotisha) is taught directly; the practical takeaway is ritual-ethical conduct centered on annadāna as a meritorious act.
