आरुरोह समं भर्त्रा तं हयं वातवेगिनम् । उवाच च वचो भूपं भर्तारं चारुहासिनी ॥ ३ ॥
āruroha samaṃ bhartrā taṃ hayaṃ vātaveginam | uvāca ca vaco bhūpaṃ bhartāraṃ cāruhāsinī || 3 ||
ചാരുഹാസിനിയായ അവൾ ഭർത്താവിനൊപ്പം കാറ്റിന്റെ വേഗമുള്ള ആ കുതിരമേറി; പിന്നെ രാജാവായ തന്റെ ഭർത്താവിനോട് മധുരവചനങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞു ॥3॥
