ग्रीवायां हि कृता रक्षा न विचारो मया कृतः । यदा स पीतचूर्णस्तु भर्ता नृपवरोत्तमा ॥ २९ ॥

grīvāyāṃ hi kṛtā rakṣā na vicāro mayā kṛtaḥ | yadā sa pītacūrṇastu bhartā nṛpavarottamā || 29 ||

ഞാൻ കഴുത്തിൽ രക്ഷാ-താലിസ്മാൻ കെട്ടി, പക്ഷേ പിന്നെ ചിന്തിച്ചില്ല. തുടർന്ന്, രാജശ്രേഷ്ഠനേ, ആ ഭർത്താവ് മഞ്ഞ ചൂർണത്തിൽ ലേപിതനായി.
