Suta (narrator) reporting the speech of the godhā to the king
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It shows how dharmic instruction can appear in immediate, practical guidance within a tīrtha–māhātmya narrative—wisdom is conveyed even through unexpected speakers, emphasizing alertness and right action.
This particular verse is not a direct bhakti teaching; it functions as narrative setup. In the Purana’s larger style, such grounded counsel supports dharma and purity, which are treated as supportive conditions for sustained Viṣṇu-bhakti.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Kalpa) is taught here; the verse offers pragmatic instruction (a quick, beneficial method), typical of Purāṇic storytelling rather than technical śāstra exposition.
