FAQs

It underscores the Puranic theme that adharma-driven aggression collapses when confronted by decisive, righteous force—fear, destruction, and flight follow when protection of order is asserted.

Though this verse is martial in tone, it supports a common Bhakti reading: surrender to the divine protector removes fear, while opposition to dharma leads to inner panic and downfall—devotion aligns one with protection rather than enmity.

No explicit Vedanga (Śikṣā, Vyākaraṇa, Chandas, Nirukta, Jyotiṣa, Kalpa) instruction appears in this verse; the practical takeaway is narrative dharma—consequences of hostility and the stabilizing role of righteous defense.
