Gaṅgāmāhātmya

यत्र स्नाता महात्मानः पितृमातृकुलानि वै । सहस्राणि समुद्धृत्य विष्णुलोके व्रजन्ति वै ॥ १७ ॥

yatra snātā mahātmānaḥ pitṛmātṛkulāni vai | sahasrāṇi samuddhṛtya viṣṇuloke vrajanti vai || 17 ||

എവിടെ മഹാത്മഭക്തർ സ്നാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു, അവിടെ അവർ പിതൃകുലവും മാതൃകുലവും ആയ ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് വംശങ്ങളെ ഉയർത്തി വിഷ്ണുലോകത്തിലേക്ക് പോകുന്നു.
