Gaṅgāmāhātmya

यन्मज्जनं महापुण्यं दुर्लभं त्रिदिवौकसाम् । सारूप्यदायकं विष्णोः किमस्मात्कथ्यते परम ॥ १५ ॥

yanmajjanaṃ mahāpuṇyaṃ durlabhaṃ tridivaukasām | sārūpyadāyakaṃ viṣṇoḥ kimasmātkathyate parama || 15 ||

ആ പുണ്യക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ മുങ്ങിസ്നാനം മഹാപുണ്യകരം; സ്വർഗ്ഗവാസികൾക്കും ദുർലഭം. അത് ശ്രീവിഷ്ണുവിന്റെ സാരൂപ്യം നൽകുന്നു—ഇതിൽപ്പരം എന്തു പറയാം?
