The Description of Mārkaṇḍeya
तस्य दर्शयितुं विप्रास्तं न संहृतवान्हरिः । मृकण्डुतनयो धीमान्विष्णुभक्तिसमन्वितः ॥ १९ ॥
tasya darśayituṃ viprāstaṃ na saṃhṛtavānhariḥ | mṛkaṇḍutanayo dhīmānviṣṇubhaktisamanvitaḥ || 19 ||
ഹേ വിപ്രന്മാരേ, അവനെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തമായി വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുവാൻ ഹരി അവനെ ലോകത്തിൽ നിന്ന് പിൻവലിച്ചില്ല. അവൻ മൃകണ്ഡുവിന്റെ ജ്ഞാനിയായ പുത്രൻ, വിഷ്ണുഭക്തിയാൽ സമന്വിതൻ.
