Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It declares nāma-kīrtana of Nārāyaṇa as a universal safeguard in Kali-yuga: sincere remembrance/chanting protects the practitioner from Kali’s spiritual disturbances.
Bhakti is shown as accessible to all—whether one seeks liberation (niṣkāma) or worldly aims (sakāma). The act of chanting “Namo Nārāyaṇāya” itself becomes the protective devotional discipline.
The verse emphasizes practical mantra-prayoga through kīrtana/japa (applied sacred recitation). While not a technical Vedāṅga lesson, it aligns with correct recitative practice (śikṣā) in maintaining clear, faithful utterance of the divine name.
