Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in the dialogue on dharma and yogic discipline)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It presents an integrated ideal: steadfast performance of yajña and sacred duties (kriyā-yoga) must be supported by truthfulness and sustained meditation, showing that outer ritual and inner contemplation belong to one path of purification.
By insisting on constant dhyāna and moral vows alongside ritual action, the verse outlines the inner discipline that ripens ritual into heartfelt remembrance—an essential foundation for Vishnu-bhakti even when the word “bhakti” is not explicit.
The emphasis on yajña-karmas points to applied Kalpa (ritual procedure) and disciplined observance of vows (vrata), indicating that correct ritual practice must be paired with ethical truthfulness and meditative focus.
