अंतःशुद्धिविहीनस्तु देवपूजापरो यदि । तमेव दैवतं हंति नरकं च प्रपद्यते ॥ ४ ॥
aṃtaḥśuddhivihīnastu devapūjāparo yadi | tameva daivataṃ haṃti narakaṃ ca prapadyate || 4 ||
അന്തരശുദ്ധിയില്ലാത്തവൻ ദേവപൂജയിൽ മാത്രം പരനായാൽ, അവൻ അതേ ദേവതയ്ക്കു അപചാരം വരുത്തി നരകത്തിലേക്കു പതിക്കുന്നു।
